ROLF BENZ DESIGNWEEK 2025

As is usual during times of unrest for society as a whole, light tone-on-tone colour schemes reflect people’s need for security and slowing down. At the same time, calming natural colours such as green and brown continue to be seen in many furniture designs at ROLF BENZ DESIGNWEEK 2025, with deep burgundy cotton velvet adding some reassuring depth of colour. Alongside additions to existing ranges from the current collection, Rolf Benz is presenting two new products for 2026: the organic and compact Rolf Benz ELVA sofa and the especially comfortable Rolf Benz JOSS functional armchair.

NEW FOR DESIGNWEEK 2025: Rolf Benz ELVA.
Great elegance for small spaces.

With their new Rolf Benz ELVA sofa, designers Silja and Norbert Beck demonstrate just how much elegance can fit into compact spaces. Clear lines and a fine organic style give the model a light, almost floating impression that looks just as good in a charming period house as it does in modern apartments.   The concept is based on the idea of versatility on a small scale: as a single sofa, a two-seater or as a standalone chaise longue, Rolf Benz ELVA offers flexible solutions for a wide range of settings.  Striking decorative stitching connects the softly rounded seat and backrest covers to the armrest and gives the chair’s reserved silhouette an air of distinction.

NEW FOR DESIGNWEEK 2025: Rolf Benz JOSS.
Softly shaped, multi-functional with unmatched comfort.

Rolf Benz JOSS redefines the combination of comfort and function. For the first time, a foam technology is used within the upholstery of this functional armchair, creating an exceptionally soft seating experience while impressing with its strong resilience properties. This idea is also reflected in the design: softly rounded forms give Rolf Benz JOSS an inviting appearance, while precisely placed decorative stitching highlights sophisticated craftsmanship. The fabric or leather seat shell can contrast with the seat cushion. A matching stool that completes the ensemble is optionally available. In terms of functionality, Rolf Benz JOSS offers everything one could wish for from a modern armchair: an integrated rocking mechanism, stepless seat height adjustment, a swivel function and an adjustable headrest. This makes it equally suitable for private living spaces as well as for lounges or hotel lobbies – an armchair that combines design aesthetics with intelligent comfort functionality.
